A woman has described her tenant as a “tenant from hell” after discovering the shocking condition of her family’s rental property.
According to the woman, the house had only been rented out for around eight months but was allegedly left in an extremely filthy and unpleasant state.
Using the social media account @Dikna_na, she shared a video showing rubbish scattered throughout almost every part of the house, including the living room, bedrooms and bathroom.
“Only eight months of living there. It was fine at first. This time, it happened to our own family, so we finally understand. Please share this post,” she wrote.
The video quickly attracted attention online, with many users expressing disbelief and criticising the tenant for allegedly failing to take proper care of the property.
One user, @Zhafirzhikri, sarcastically commented that someone who could live in such conditions might as well rent a rubbish disposal site instead, while another, @Syahidaalfath_mh, questioned how the tenant could have been allowed to rent the property.
Another user, @Drredzazainol, said even watching the video was upsetting and expressed sympathy for the homeowner.
The incident has once again highlighted the frustrations some landlords face when rental properties are allegedly left in poor condition, with proper care of a rented home remaining a shared responsibility between tenants and property owners.
