Malaysia will never waver in its fight for truth and justice and will continue to stand firmly with the international community that loves peace in opposing the Zionist regime’s brutality against the people of Gaza, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He reaffirmed that Malaysia, alongside global partners, will persist in demanding that humanitarian aid be delivered immediately to the suffering people of Gaza.
Anwar said Malaysia will also continue strengthening cooperation with friendly nations, the Islamic world, and global humanitarian blocs to realize aid missions and pave the way toward genuine peace — with the ultimate goal of establishing a free, sovereign, and dignified Palestinian state.
“As long as Gaza continues to be bombarded and desecrated, we will not remain silent. Our voices will keep echoing in the streets, on the world stage, and in the hearts of every Malaysian,” he wrote in a Facebook post today.
Meanwhile, Anwar expressed deep emotion over the overwhelming turnout at the Solidarity With Gaza: Malaysia Wave, Free Palestine rally held last night at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil.
“Malaysians of all faiths and backgrounds gathered with one heart, showing solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Gaza who continue to suffer and are denied humanitarian aid.
“I was truly moved by the sea of people who came with love and courage — not because they were forced, but because their conscience rejects oppression and demands justice. This is the true face of Malaysia — a principled, compassionate nation that refuses to tolerate tyranny,” he said.
The rally was held to welcome home the humanitarian heroes of the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) mission to Gaza and to continue strengthening Malaysian solidarity with Palestine.
