Tiong King Sing Breaks Silence on Alcohol Dinner Issue Expresses Deep Regret Over Confusion

Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing has expressed regret over the confusion and misunderstanding surrounding allegations that alcohol was served during a recent dinner with international tourism industry players.

He said the ministry takes public feedback on the matter seriously and clarified that the dinner was not an official government event.

“The inconvenience and confusion caused are deeply regretted,” Tiong said during the Ministers’ Question Time in Parliament today.
