BN’s Johor Victory Powered By Strong Party Machinery, Says Wan Rosdy

Date:

The success of Barisan Nasional (BN) in the 16th Johor State Election was attributed to the dedication, commitment and fighting spirit shown by the party’s entire election machinery.

UMNO vice-president Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail expressed his appreciation to all BN supporters and campaign teams, including those from Pahang who stayed in Johor throughout the 14-day campaign period to help secure the coalition’s victory.

He said the sacrifices, determination and commitment displayed by the machinery played a significant role in achieving the outcome.

“The commitment, sacrifices and fighting spirit shown were among the key factors that contributed to this success,” he said in a Facebook post.

Wan Rosdy also thanked Johor voters who fulfilled their responsibilities and placed their trust in BN to continue leading the state administration.

He said the mandate given by the people would be translated into continuous efforts to ensure Johor remains stable, prosperous, developed and focused on the well-being of its people.

In a separate post, Wan Rosdy, who is also the BN/UMNO Pahang chairman, described BN’s victory of securing 48 out of 56 contested State Legislative Assembly (DUN) seats as a positive development not only for Johor but also for the coalition.

He congratulated BN chairman Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi and thanked all party machinery members, including those from Pahang, for their contributions during the election campaign.

Wan Rosdy added that all Johor constituencies supported by Pahang achieved victory in the state election.

BN officially secured a strong mandate to form the Johor government after winning 48 seats, while Pakatan Harapan (PH) managed to secure eight DUN seats.
