DBKL Seizes Properties Over Assessment Tax Arrears In Bukit Bintang

Date:

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) carried out an enforcement operation at Hicks Flat along Jalan Changkat Bukit Bintang on Thursday, targeting property owners with outstanding assessment tax payments.

In a statement, DBKL said the operation involved 15 assessment tax accounts with unpaid arrears.

The enforcement action was carried out through the issuance of Warrants of Seizure (Form F) under the Local Government Act 1976 (Act 171) to recover the outstanding assessment taxes.

DBKL said it will continue to intensify similar operations at locations identified as having high levels of unpaid assessment taxes as part of its efforts to strengthen compliance with local government regulations.

Property owners have been urged to check the status of their assessment tax accounts and settle any outstanding payments promptly to avoid enforcement action.
