The Election Commission (SPR) will hold a special meeting tomorrow regarding preparations for the upcoming Johor and Negeri Sembilan state elections.
According to a note issued by SPR today, the meeting is scheduled to take place at 10am.
A press conference will be held immediately after the meeting concludes.
The Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly, which has 36 seats, was officially dissolved last Friday to pave the way for the election.
Meanwhile, the Johor State Assembly, which has 56 seats, was dissolved earlier on June 1.
Previous reports had raised questions over the validity of the Negeri Sembilan dissolution, citing concerns over the lack of consent from co-rulers, including the Undang Yang Empat and Tunku Besar Tampin.
There were also claims regarding issues linked to the role of Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir as Yang di-Pertuan Besar following the dissolution approval.
The matter has since drawn public attention ahead of the upcoming polls.
