MADANI Government to Prioritise Water and Electricity Access in Sabah, Says PM

Date:

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has reaffirmed the MADANI Government’s commitment to ensuring Sabah is no longer left behind in terms of basic infrastructure.

He stressed that the provision of essential services, including reliable water and electricity supply, will remain a key priority under the federal administration.

Anwar made the pledge after receiving a courtesy call from Sabah Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Musa Aman at his office.

In a Facebook post, the Prime Minister said the meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on Sabah’s development planning, economic expansion and the social well-being of its people.

“This meeting strengthens our shared resolve to develop Sabah in a fair and comprehensive manner,” he said.

He added that progress must be guided by the genuine needs of the rakyat to ensure that development initiatives are meaningful and felt by all Sabahans.
