Trump Warns Israel Could Be “On Its Own” If Iran War Escalates

Date:

US President Donald Trump has reportedly warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Israel could be left “fighting alone” if it resumes full-scale war with Iran, amid rising tensions in the region.

In a phone call 100 days into the conflict, Trump is said to have told Netanyahu: “Bibi, you better be careful, or you will be on your own very soon,” according to reports.

The conversation came as Iran launched a wave of missile attacks on Israel, marking the first major escalation since a ceasefire in April, with Israeli forces preparing for possible retaliation strikes.

Sources said Netanyahu had been weighing plans for a large-scale military response targeting sensitive sites in Iran, but was urged by Washington to exercise restraint.

A US official said Trump declined to give approval for retaliatory strikes and insisted there was no “green light” for escalation.

Following the call, Netanyahu reportedly instructed senior military officials to halt planned strikes, as diplomatic pressure intensified behind the scenes.

Reports also suggest the tone of the call was calmer compared to an earlier exchange in which Trump allegedly described Netanyahu in strong terms.

Despite Israel’s military capabilities, analysts say sustained operations against Iran would still require US support in terms of logistics and ammunition supply.

Trump has publicly called for both sides to de-escalate, urging Israel and Iran to “immediately stop shooting” and move towards a ceasefire agreement.

The situation remains highly volatile, with regional tensions continuing to rise amid ongoing strikes and counterstrikes across multiple fronts.
