Three teenage boys appeared in the Parit Magistrate’s Court on Friday, facing charges for allegedly humiliating a 13-year-old student by pulling down his trousers in front of others at a school hall in Perak Tengah.
According to Sinar Harian, the 16-year-olds pleaded not guilty during a closed-door proceeding before Magistrate Nurul Izalina Rajaai. The incident reportedly occurred at 8:30 a.m. on November 14 at a local secondary school in Parit, where the trio allegedly pushed the victim and forcibly removed his trousers.
They were charged under Section 507B of the Penal Code, read together with Section 34, which carries a maximum penalty of three years’ imprisonment, a fine, or both upon conviction.
Inspector Mohd Syukri Abdul Talib represented the prosecution, while the accused were defended by National Legal Aid Foundation (YBGK) lawyer Nur Nadzrah Badarudin. The defence sought lower bail, noting that all three are students from families with limited means.
The court granted bail of RM500 per accused. A mention has been set for December 16 to obtain a social report from the Social Welfare Department.
