Akmal Nasrullah Mohamad Nasir has been appointed as the new Minister of Economy, while Datuk Seri Arthur Joseph Kurup has taken over as Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES).
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced the appointments today as part of a cabinet reshuffle.
They replace Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli and Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, who stepped down from the cabinet in May after losing in the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) elections.
