Man Dies After Car Crashes Into Construction Site, Pierced By Iron Rod

A Chinese male driver reportedly lost control of his car this morning and crashed into a construction site in the middle of the road. An iron rod pierced through the driver’s seat, causing fatal injuries, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. near the public bus stop on Tiande Garden Road, on the route toward Falin New Town.

The deceased has been identified as Lin Shunde (phonetic), 67, who lived in the Longwei area. For reasons yet unknown, his vehicle lost control and collided with a construction site managed by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).

Firefighters were working to safely remove the body from the wreckage, while police officers maintained traffic control at the scene.
