A Thai woman miraculously survived a fall from the 25th floor of a luxury apartment building, though she remains in critical condition. Investigators say a sudden gust of strong wind may have altered her trajectory, directing her into the building’s swimming pool, which helped cushion her fall and likely saved her life.

According to Thaiger, security guards discovered the woman lying near the pool on Tuesday morning, drenched and bleeding from her face and nose. Emergency responders rushed her to the hospital, where she is still receiving intensive care.
Authorities say the 26-year-old woman lived in the apartment with her foreign husband. Neighbors reported hearing a loud argument between the couple shortly before the incident. Police have not yet determined whether the fall was accidental, intentional, or the result of foul play. Her husband has been taken in for questioning, and investigators are reviewing surveillance footage to piece together the events leading up to the fall.
Officials described the woman’s survival as a near-miraculous escape. While the swimming pool helped reduce the impact, the force of a fall from such a height still caused severe injuries, and she remains in critical condition in hospital.
