Jennifer Lopez is starting 2026 with glitz, glamour, and a confident message for her critics. The global superstar, 56, opened her Jennifer Lopez: Up All Night Live residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on December 30, addressing the online negativity she faces with humor and self-assurance.
“Thank God I’ve been doing this a long time. I can just ignore a lot of it,” Lopez told the audience, acknowledging the criticism she often receives about her age and wardrobe choices. “Why she always dressed that way? Why don’t she dress her age? Why she always naked? And I said, ‘If you had this booty, you’d be naked too,’” she added, playfully giving the crowd a glimpse of her sequined fringe minidress before covering it with a feathery skirt.
The residency marks Lopez’s first since her record-breaking Jennifer Lopez: All I Have show at Planet Hollywood from 2016 to 2018, which ran 120 performances and grossed over $100 million. Up All Night will include three more shows from December 31 to January 3, with an additional eight performances scheduled for March 2026 at the same venue.
As expected, the show features Lopez’s signature style of daring, high-fashion outfits. Highlights include a baby pink feathered robe and gown with a low-plunging corset, a bedazzled leg-baring bodysuit inspired by men’s tuxedos, an abs-baring encrusted fringe dress, and a custom Victoria’s Secret corseted lace catsuit with web-like details.
Lopez recently turned heads for her fashion at an elaborate Indian wedding in November, performing in a gold bejeweled bodysuit and later attending the ceremony in a crystal-studded Manish Malhotra couture saree, accessorized with a 168-carat emerald necklace.
In addition to her residency and high-profile events, Lopez also celebrated the holiday season with family, wearing matching pajamas and a festive ‘90s-inspired dress that showcased her signature style.
With her new Las Vegas residency, Lopez continues to combine show-stopping performances, bold fashion choices, and a playful sense of humor, proving once again why she remains one of the world’s most enduring pop icons.
