A 13-year-old boy was found dead in the bathroom of his home in Taman Merdeka, Batu Berendam, yesterday.
According to sources, authorities received a report of the boy’s sudden death at 1:40 p.m. from Melaka Hospital.
“Based on preliminary investigations, the victim was found unconscious by his parents when they returned home at 11:30 a.m.,” the source said.
It was reported that the parents heard the sound of running water from the bathroom before discovering that the bathroom door was locked from the inside.
