Woman in Klang Claims She Was Hypnotised, Robbed, and Groped After Accepting Ride

Date:

A Malaysian woman has shared a harrowing encounter in which she claims she was hypnotised, robbed, and groped by a man who offered her a ride while she was out running errands.

In a post on Threads, @aculina01 recounted how the man approached her on 6 January at Teluk Pulai, Klang, around 7:45 PM, tapping her on the shoulder and offering a ride to the KTM station. She later discovered that several important items had been taken from her handbag without her noticing.

“I realised that important items in my handbag were missing. Then I remembered that earlier at the Teluk Pulai supermarket, a man had tapped me on the shoulder and later gave me a ride to KTM Teluk Pulai,” she wrote.

Upon arriving at the KTM station, the woman claims the suspect also groped her. Her post warned the public, particularly women, to remain vigilant: “I just got hypnotised by someone. Even buying groceries nearby isn’t safe anymore. Be careful, everyone, especially women!”

According to her police report, the stolen items included:

  • Bank card
  • Identification card (MyKad)
  • Driving license
  • RM100 cash
  • 0.5-gram gold ring

The post also shared a screenshot of her brother-in-law’s warning to the public: “Whatever the case, this story is a reminder for everyone to stay alert. Even in crowded places, people may attempt to hypnotise and rob you.”

Authorities have been notified, and the case is under investigation.
