Malaysian businesswoman and social media influencer Sasha Abdul Aziz has dismissed her family’s domestic helper after her six-year-old daughter, Isabella, alleged that the woman had slapped her.
Sasha shared the incident on Instagram and Threads on 10 January, revealing that it came to light during a casual conversation over lunch the day before. When asked whether she liked their helper of four years, Isabella gave a troubling response, claiming that the woman had hit her after she refused to finish her dinner.
According to Sasha, Isabella even demonstrated how the slap happened, convincing her that the allegation was genuine.
“Isabella speaks well, and she knows what’s right and wrong,” Sasha said in her post.
Sasha also revealed that the helper had recently asked for a pay rise as she would be taking on the responsibility of caring for Sasha’s eldest child as well.
In a short video shared online, Sasha can be heard telling Isabella that the helper’s belongings would be thrown away following the incident. She later confirmed in an Instagram Story that the helper was fired at 8pm the same day.
“I fired her, just like that. No one touches my Isabella,” she wrote.
Sasha further shared screenshots of WhatsApp messages detailing her dissatisfaction with the helper’s work attitude and cleanliness, including complaints about eating in the bedroom and leaving the area dirty. She said these issues, combined with the alleged physical abuse, led to the decision to terminate the helper’s employment.
