Maybank is set to launch a new mobile app as part of its five-year ROAR30 strategy, aimed at boosting its digital presence in the region.
President and CEO Datuk Seri Khairussaleh Ramli said the app could eventually replace Maybank’s current MAE app, introducing enhanced features identified through customer feedback.
The new platform will serve multiple countries, with Indonesia likely to be the first market. Specific launch details are yet to be announced.
ROAR30, Maybank’s strategy through 2030, focuses on humanising financial services, expanding business at scale, and strengthening the bank’s foundation for the future.
