Influencer Ariz Ramli, better known as Caprice, has shared disturbing allegations from a whistleblower claiming that an autistic child was stripped naked and locked inside a store room at a kindergarten in Shah Alam.
Caprice took to his Instagram to post a video sent to him by the whistleblower, who claimed to be a former employee of the kindergarten. The individual said they resigned after being unable to tolerate how children were allegedly treated at the facility.
In his post, Caprice questioned the incident, writing, “How can an autistic child be stripped naked and locked in a store room?”
The video shared showed the alleged condition of the kindergarten, which appeared messy and unhygienic, before the whistleblower attempted to record the child through gaps in the store room door. A silhouette of a child could be seen moving inside the dark storage space.
According to the whistleblower, the child was locked inside the room for an extended period and was so distressed that the child allegedly ate dirty wooden pieces found inside.
“When I was recording, there was an autistic child who had been stripped naked and locked in the store room,” the whistleblower claimed.
“I resigned and only stayed on for two more days because I couldn’t stand watching the children being tortured,” the individual added.
Despite no police report being lodged, Sin Chew Daily reported that Shah Alam district police chief ACP Ramsay Embol confirmed that police have taken the initiative to launch an investigation after the allegations went viral online.
Members of the public with information related to the case are urged to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Laymand Rayne, at 014-690 7071.
