High-Speed Chase Footage Goes Viral, Police Confirm It’s From Film Set

Date:

A video circulating on social media showing a policeman aiming a pistol at a man’s head after a high-speed chase has been clarified as footage from a movie set.

The 24-second clip, shared by X user @update11111, shows two patrol cars pursuing a Perodua Kelisa before forcing it to the roadside. The video then depicts a policeman pointing a gun at a man kneeling with his hands raised.

Kuala Langat police chief Superintendent Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi confirmed that the clip is from an old film production.

“This is an old video from an acting scene. The vehicle used was an older model, from the time of the previous district police chief, before my tenure,” he explained.
