Tragedy On Jalan Seremban–Nilai: Woman Dies After Boyfriend Jumps From Moving Car

Date:

A young woman tragically lost her life after her boyfriend unexpectedly jumped from a moving car in Jalan Seremban–Nilai, near Taman Kirby, Batu 9, Labu, on Monday.

The victim, in her 20s, suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at Hospital Tuanku Jaafar on Tuesday, more than 20 hours after the incident.

Nilai District Police Chief, Superintendent Johari Yahya, said the police were alerted to the case by a local woman in her 20s at 11.37am on Tuesday.

“The woman reported that her friend, a man also in his 20s, allegedly fell from a moving vehicle on Feb 2, 2026, at around 3pm. Preliminary investigations indicate the incident occurred while the victim was driving the car,” he stated on Wednesday.

Johari explained that during the journey, a discussion occurred, after which the male victim reportedly jumped out of the car suddenly.

The fall caused him to lose consciousness at the scene and sustain serious injuries to the head and legs. He was rushed to Hospital Tuanku Jaafar but succumbed to his injuries at 12.35pm on Tuesday.

“The case has been classified as sudden death, and further investigations are ongoing,” Johari added.

He urged the public not to speculate about the incident and requested anyone with information to come forward to assist the police investigation at the nearest station or the Nilai District Police Headquarters.
