Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has congratulated Malaysian muay thai fighter Johan Ghazali, better known as Jojo, following his victory at ONE Friday Fights 141 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Prime Minister shared his message of support and recognition for the young athlete’s achievement on his Facebook page, expressing pride in Malaysia’s representation on the international stage.
“Congratulations Jojo!” Anwar wrote in the brief post.
Earlier, Johan secured his win against his Myanmar opponent, Ye Yint Naung, in a match held at Lumpinee Stadium last night. The victory was confirmed by the judges’ decision after three rounds of intense combat.
This success further cements Johan’s status as one of Malaysia’s top muay thai prospects and brings pride to the nation’s combat sports scene on the global stage.
