Man Dies After Alleged Fall From MRT Titiwangsa Bridge In Kuala Lumpur

A 47-year-old man has died after he was believed to have jumped from a pedestrian bridge near the MRT Titiwangsa station along Jalan Tun Razak here earlier today.

Dang Wangi District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Sazalee Adam said police received information regarding the incident at about 8am through an NG MERS 999 emergency call.

Initial findings indicate that the victim, who was from Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan, is suspected to have fallen from the MRT Titiwangsa pedestrian bridge. He was discovered lying on his left side at the scene.

Medical examination found that the man had sustained severe injuries to the left side of his head, a wound on his right thumb and injuries to his left arm.

Sazalee said investigations carried out so far have not revealed any elements of foul play linked to the incident. Authorities are continuing with standard procedures as part of the case documentation.
