A 43-year-old mother of three has died after undergoing three cosmetic procedures in a single extended operation lasting around 10 hours in Brazil.
The woman, Bianca Naufel Saliba, reportedly underwent liposuction, a tummy tuck, and a breast lift at Saint Peter Hospital in São Paulo.
According to reports, she suffered a cardiac arrest after waking from surgery. Despite emergency efforts by medical staff, including a prolonged resuscitation attempt and a second intervention, she was later pronounced dead.
Her mother, Marcia Naufel, described her daughter as a joyful and strong woman who was deeply devoted to her family. In an emotional tribute, she said her greatest wish was always her children’s happiness and added that Bianca had been in one of the happiest periods of her life.
Bianca, who ran a fuel business operating service stations in São Paulo state, was placed under anaesthesia while surgeons carried out the multiple procedures in a single session.
After the operation, she reportedly experienced severe breathing difficulties and choking symptoms consistent with cardiac arrest, prompting immediate emergency action by hospital staff.
Local authorities have launched an investigation into the case, treating the death as suspicious. Police have also questioned the lead surgeon involved, while forensic examinations are being carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
