First Sitting Of 15th Negeri Sembilan Legislative Assembly Postponed

Date:

The First Sitting of the 15th Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly has been adjourned and will be rescheduled to a later date, according to the state leadership.

Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun said the decision was made after the opening ceremony officiated earlier today by the Yang di-Pertuan Besar.

He briefly told reporters that the sitting, which was originally set to run from April 27 to 29, will now proceed at a more suitable time depending on the situation.

State Assembly Speaker MK Ibrahim Abd Rahman also confirmed that today’s proceedings only involved the royal address by the Yang di-Pertuan Besar.

He added that the government will determine a new date for the sitting with the consent of His Royal Highness, and an official notice will be issued later.

The opening ceremony this morning was officiated by the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir.
