Netflix and live entertainment company AEG Presents have officially announced a global concert tour inspired by the hit animated film KPop Demon Hunters.
The announcement was made on Thursday, with organisers promising that elements from the popular Netflix movie will be brought “to life in dynamic and unforgettable ways for fans around the world”.
Details regarding tour locations, dates and ticket sales are expected to be revealed later this year. A waitlist page has also been launched for fans hoping to receive the latest updates about the upcoming concerts.
At the moment, it remains unclear whether the singing voices behind fictional K-pop girl group Huntr/x — Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami — will directly participate in the world tour performances.
KPop Demon Hunters follows the story of fictional K-pop girl group Huntr/x, whose members secretly fight demons while protecting the world. Their biggest rivals come in the form of the Saja Boys, a demon group disguised as a K-pop boy band.
Since its release on Netflix on June 20, 2025, the film has grown into a major global pop culture phenomenon, attracting a massive international fanbase.
In August last year, Netflix confirmed that KPop Demon Hunters became the platform’s most-watched film.
The movie’s soundtrack also achieved major international success, topping music charts worldwide, including the Billboard 200.
One of the soundtrack’s standout songs, Golden, made history as the first K-pop song to win both a Grammy Awards and an Academy Awards.
Meanwhile, a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters is currently in development.
