TMJ Announces Final Gift To JDT With New Training Facility

Date:

The Regent of Johor, Tunku Mahkota Ismail, has reaffirmed his commitment to elevating the standard of football in Johor with the announcement of a new phase of infrastructure development for Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT).

The Crown Prince, who is also the owner of JDT, said that aside from plans to upgrade the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium to its next phase, the Larkin Stadium will also undergo a comprehensive redevelopment.

However, his main focus is now on the development of a new training centre, which he described as his “final contribution” to the club.

“This new training centre is my final contribution to JDT FC. It will be among the best in the world and something all Johor supporters can be proud of,” he said.

On Tuesday, he officiated the groundbreaking ceremony for the new JDT training centre in Iskandar Puteri.

According to an official post on the club’s social media page, the centralised facility will serve as the main hub for all JDT teams, from youth squads to the senior team.

The world-class facility will include multiple training pitches, indoor training facilities, a medical centre, a mini stadium, an auditorium, and various other amenities.
