Two Hardcore Criminals Shot Dead In Gunfight With Bukit Aman Police

Date:

Two local hardcore criminals were shot dead after an intense exchange of gunfire with officers from Bukit Aman’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Bandar Seri Putra, Kajang, late Tuesday night.

The dramatic shootout took place along Jalan Persiaran Seri Putra 2 at around 9.10pm.

Bukit Aman CID director M Kumar said initial investigations revealed that both suspects were believed to be involved in several robbery cases across the Klang Valley.

Police later conducted inspections at the scene and uncovered a cache of dangerous weapons and burglary tools believed to have been used in criminal activities.

Among the items seized were a revolver pistol, several live bullets and spent shell casings. Authorities also recovered four machetes, housebreaking equipment, face masks and gloves.

The discovery has raised concerns over the growing boldness of violent criminals operating in urban areas, especially those linked to armed robbery syndicates.

Kumar said further details regarding the incident would be revealed during a press conference scheduled for Wednesday.

The case is expected to draw major public attention as police continue efforts to crack down on violent crime and armed gangs in the Klang Valley.
