Seven Killed, 17 Injured In Explosion In Southern China

At least seven people have been killed and 17 others injured following an explosion in China’s Guangxi region, authorities confirmed.

According to a notice issued by local officials, emergency responders rushed to the scene after the blast, which left multiple casualties and triggered an ongoing investigation into its cause.

Authorities said 17 injured victims were taken to hospital for treatment. Fortunately, none of the injuries were reported to be life-threatening.

Preliminary investigations have ruled out issues involving gas pipelines as the source of the explosion, although officials have yet to determine the exact cause.
