Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called on Johor voters to give Pakatan Harapan (PH) an opportunity to serve the state ahead of the 16th Johor state election this Saturday.
In a Facebook post today, Anwar, who is also PH chairman, said the coalition is committed to working hard to protect Johor’s interests and ensure development efforts benefit the people if given the mandate.
With only a few days remaining before polling day, Anwar urged voters to place their trust in PH and allow the coalition to contribute towards the state’s progress.
He said PH would strive to safeguard Johor’s interests and ensure the state’s growth reaches all segments of society.
Anwar also encouraged Johor residents living outside the state to return home and fulfil their responsibility as voters on Saturday.
In a separate post yesterday, he shared a traditional pantun to encourage voters to return and cast their ballots for the future of Johor.
The 16th Johor state election will see 172 candidates contesting 56 state assembly seats, with polling day scheduled for this Saturday.
