realme Vice President Xu Qi announced that the company will shift its strategic focus away from the Chinese market and concentrate on expanding its presence overseas, with a strong emphasis on high-performance smartphones and gaming devices.
In an open letter to customers, Xu said OPPO’s official team will fully take over the sales, after-sales support and warranty services for existing realme smartphones in China, ensuring users continue to receive uninterrupted customer service.
He added that once the next-generation ColorOS is released, eligible realme users will be able to upgrade their devices after receiving the official update notification.
Xu assured customers that all existing user rights and benefits would remain fully protected throughout the transition.
The announcement marks a strategic shift for realme, with the brand aiming to focus its resources on growing its international business while continuing to deliver performance-driven products to global markets.
