American record-breaker David Rush, famous for his wild Guinness World Records stunts, recently set a new record aboard the Disney Wonder cruise in the North Atlantic. Using only his mouth, Rush bounced a ping-pong ball off a wall 51 times in 30 seconds, surpassing his previous record.
UPI reports that Rush currently holds over 181 Guinness World Records, the most of any individual worldwide. He first set the record for “most ping-pong ball bounces off a wall in 30 seconds using only the mouth” at 43, then increased it to 47 in 2024 at the Guinness World Records headquarters in London.
On the fifth day of the Disney Wonder cruise, while at sea in the North Atlantic, Rush smashed the record again in front of onlookers, completing 51 bounces. The crowd erupted in applause as he finished.
Rush described the challenge as deceptively difficult, requiring precise control of angle and force. “If the force is too strong, the ball bounces too high; too weak, and it drops, slowing the speed. Every bounce counts, and timing, power, and angle must all be perfect,” he said.
