A 56-year-old man was found dead inside a locked car at a row of convenience stores in Puncak Alam on Tuesday.
The victim was pronounced dead by medical personnel from Hospital Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).
He was reportedly given cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) by a doctor from a nearby clinic who happened to pass the area and noticed the incident.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Operations Division assistant director Ashrul Riezal Asbar said the department received an emergency call regarding the incident at about 11.30am.
He said a team from the Kapar Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the scene at around 11.57am and found that members of the public had already opened the vehicle’s door.
“The victim was subsequently pronounced dead by medical personnel from Hospital UiTM Puncak Alam.
“Further action has been handed over to the police for investigation,” he said.
