Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has expressed his appreciation for a painting presented to him by a special child during the Temu Anwar programme in Negeri Sembilan recently.
In a Facebook post today, Anwar said he still remembered the moment the painting was handed to him by the child, who was being carried by his father during the programme.
“Thank you for this very meaningful gift. I appreciate it with all my heart,” he said.
The painting, based on a photograph shared by Anwar, features a robot character wearing red and blue armour and holding an object resembling a staff in its left hand.
The simple gesture has added a personal touch to the programme, highlighting the interactions between the Prime Minister and members of the community beyond formal discussions.
Temu Anwar serves as a direct dialogue platform that brings the Prime Minister together with young people and Malaysians from various backgrounds.
Through the programme, participants have the opportunity to engage directly with Anwar and share their views, concerns and experiences.
