Man’s Eerie Earthquake Warning Ignored Hours Before 7.7 Magnitude Tremor Hits Indonesia

Date:

A young man has gone viral on social media after allegedly warning residents at a port in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Indonesia, to evacuate just hours before a powerful earthquake struck the area.

According to Indonesian media reports, the man’s warning was reportedly dismissed by people at the port, with some residents even laughing at him instead of taking his words seriously.

The man is said to have claimed that he was “the Angel Mikail” while delivering the warning. His unusual statement reportedly led people nearby to believe he was hallucinating and that there was no reason to take his warning seriously.

However, the situation took an unexpected turn several hours later when a powerful earthquake struck offshore near Flores Island in NTT.

The earthquake, reportedly measuring 7.7 magnitude, shook areas around the region and caught residents by surprise.

Reports said the powerful tremor resulted in numerous deaths and forced thousands of people to flee their homes and surrounding areas in search of safety.

The man’s earlier warning has since attracted widespread attention online, with social media users revisiting footage and accounts of his unusual attempt to alert people before the earthquake struck.

While his warning has sparked speculation online, the circumstances surrounding his prediction and his identity remain unclear based on the available reports.
