Visitors Forced To Walk Along Roller Coaster Track After Ride Stops

Date:

A video circulating on social media has sparked concern after a group of visitors were reportedly forced to get off and walk along a roller coaster track after the ride allegedly stopped while in operation.

The incident was highlighted by a Threads user, who shared a post showing several visitors standing along the roller coaster track before they were believed to have been escorted out of the area.

“Another theme park issue, and now people have to get off the roller coaster and walk. Hopefully no one was injured. It’s starting to look like jungle trekking,” the user wrote.

The post drew various reactions online, with some users suggesting that walking along a designated track could be part of an emergency evacuation procedure when a ride encounters technical difficulties.

One user, Unie, claimed that passengers may sometimes have to leave the ride on foot if a roller coaster becomes stuck and is unable to return to its normal station.

“They do have to walk. Maybe the roller coaster got stuck due to a technical problem and could not return to its original position. There is a designated walkway for evacuating passengers,” the user said.

Another commenter, who claimed to have previously worked at a theme park, said safety procedures were generally taken seriously and that no visitors had suffered injuries from similar situations during their time there.

The incident has nevertheless raised questions among social media users about the safety and emergency evacuation procedures used at theme parks, particularly when rides experience unexpected stoppages.

As of now, no official statement has been issued regarding the alleged incident.
