Nepalese tourism authorities have published the names of 537 foreign nationals from more than 30 countries who have been reported missing following devastating floods in Rasuwa district.
The Department of Tourism under Nepal’s Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation released the latest information on Thursday evening under the heading “Tourist List (Out of Contact) in Bhotekoshi Flood”.
The list contains details of foreign tourists reported to be out of contact, including their names and, in some cases, the travel agencies responsible for organising their trips.
Among those listed are 51 Malaysians who were reportedly travelling under four agencies – Leaf Holiday, Fishtail, Dream Tibet Travel and Tour, and Kailash Journeys.

The names were included in Nepal’s latest list of foreign nationals reported missing or out of contact following the Bhotekoshi floods in Rasuwa district.
India recorded the largest number of nationals reported missing, with 178 people on the list.
The United States followed with 65 missing nationals, while Ukraine recorded 53.
The release of the list provides authorities and families with a clearer indication of the number and nationalities of foreign visitors who remain unaccounted for following the flooding.
Search and rescue efforts are expected to remain a priority as authorities work to establish the whereabouts of those listed and determine the full impact of the disaster.
