A 43-year-old local man was injured in the palm after he was allegedly shot by two men at a used-car workshop near a Chinese cemetery along Jalan Sungai Lembu, Machang Bubok, on Thursday.

“The police are conducting investigations to identify the suspects and determine the motive,” he said, adding that the case is being investigated under Section 307 of the Penal Code for attempted murder.
