Woman Throws Tantrum At Drink Shop Worker For Not Looking Her In The Eye

Date:

A woman has come under fire online after confronting a drink shop worker over the employee’s alleged failure to look her in the face while taking her order.

Several videos of the incident, which went viral on Threads, showed the customer recording herself confronting the worker after expressing dissatisfaction with the service.

In the footage, the woman claimed the employee had failed to make eye contact while taking her order and had called out her order number in a loud tone.

The incident drew widespread criticism in the comments, with many social media users describing the customer’s behaviour as inconsiderate and excessive.

“Don’t you have any patience? Can’t you be a little more patient? Everything makes you angry and irritable. Can’t you speak nicely? Being hot-tempered isn’t an illness, it comes from your own stupidity,” commented Hafizy.

Another user, Intan, said she understood that service workers could be tired, even when they did not appear cheerful.

“Sometimes staff serve you without smiling and with a stern expression. I’m fine with that because I understand they’re tired. After getting my drink, I say thank you and smile,” she wrote.

A third user, Wishma, questioned whether the situation warranted such a reaction.

“It’s such a small issue. Why go as far as throwing food and slapping someone’s child on the head?” she commented.
