A Perak headmaster has lodged a police report after a video showing a mother confronting him over allegations of sexual harassment involving her 15-year-old daughter went viral on social media.
The incident reportedly took place at a school in Teluk Intan, drawing widespread attention after footage of the confrontation circulated online.

Perak police chief Alwi Zainal Abidin said preliminary investigations indicated that the girl’s family had confronted the headmaster over allegations that he had contacted the teenager to express feelings of love and affection.
Police have recorded statements from nine people in connection with the case, Alwi said, as reported by Free Malaysia Today.
He added that the case was being investigated under the Penal Code, the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, and Section 15(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, which covers non-physical sexual assault.
Alwi said police would conduct a detailed investigation into the allegations and the circumstances surrounding the incident, particularly as the case involved a civil servant.
The viral video showed the girl’s mother confronting the headmaster in his office, accompanied by another woman. The confrontation reportedly followed allegations that he had sent an “I love you” message to her daughter.
On October 25, Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek said she had instructed the Perak Education Department to investigate the allegations.
She also confirmed that the headmaster had been temporarily transferred to the Bagan Datuk District Education Office pending the outcome of the investigation.
