A 25-year-old woman has been arrested to assist investigations into an incident involving the disturbance of shoppers and visitors at a shopping mall in the capital.
Dang Wangi district police chief Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Azwan Amin Nordin said the woman was detained at 5.40pm on Tuesday in Bandar Sri Damansara.
“Preliminary investigations found that the woman admitted to being involved in the incident,” he said in a statement.
Members of the public with information about the case are urged to contact the Kuala Lumpur Police Hotline at 03-2146 0522 or 03-2146 0585, the Dang Wangi District Police Headquarters Control Centre at 03-2600 2222, or visit their nearest police station.
The incident went viral on social media last Sunday after footage emerged showing a confrontation between a woman and a man.
The altercation reportedly took place after the woman allegedly mistreated children at the shopping mall.
