Police have arrested the former boyfriend and stepbrother of a woman found dead, naked and with her hands bound, in bushes near the Blue Water Estate roundabout in Seri Kembangan on Wednesday.
Serdang police chief Farid Ahmad said the two were among three men, aged 25 to 30, taken into custody yesterday to assist in the investigation, according to Berita Harian. Police plan to seek remand orders for the trio today and are also searching for another suspect.
The victim was identified by her sibling, and her family had reported her missing prior to the discovery of her body. The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
The body was reportedly discovered around 3.45pm on Wednesday, according to Farid.
