If your inbox is drowning in newsletters, promo blasts, and subscription emails you never remember signing up for, Google has some welcome news.
Gmail is rolling out a new feature called Manage Subscriptions — a simple way to clean house and take back control of your inbox.
This new tool gives users a streamlined view of all their active email subscriptions, neatly organized with the most frequent senders right at the top. Next to each sender, you’ll find a convenient one-click unsubscribe button that instantly sends a removal request—no more digging through tiny text at the bottom of emails.
You can find the Manage Subscriptions feature by clicking the menu bar in the top-left corner of your Gmail interface and selecting it from the list. While it’s starting to roll out on the web today, Android users will see it beginning July 14, and iOS users will get it from July 21 onward. Google says it may take a couple of weeks to appear for everyone, and it will be available to personal Gmail accounts, Google Workspace users, and Workspace Individual subscribers in select countries.
Once opened, the tool displays who’s flooding your inbox and exactly how many emails they’ve sent in recent weeks—giving you a clear picture of your digital clutter. Clicking on a sender provides a breakdown of all emails they’ve sent, and if it’s too much, a single tap is all it takes to cut the cord.
Whether you’re looking to ditch old mailing lists, declutter your inbox, or just silence a few overly enthusiastic brands, Gmail’s Manage Subscriptions is shaping up to be the unsubscribe hero we all needed.
