‘Let The People Judge’ – Fadhlina Responds To ‘One Term Left’ Remark

Date:

Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek has stressed that the decisions she makes are guided by her responsibilities and are not driven by a desire to gain popularity.

In a post on Threads, Fadhlina said that as long as she was given the opportunity to carry out her duties, she would focus on doing what she believed was right and leave it to the public to judge her performance.

“Nothing lasts forever. As long as we are given the opportunity, we do what is right. Let the people judge.

“What matters is that every decision we make is based on responsibility, not simply on chasing popularity,” she said.

Her remarks came in response to a social media user who jokingly urged her to take more photographs, claiming that her time as a minister had only “one term” left.

The post quickly drew attention from other Threads users, with some offering words of encouragement and expressing their support for Fadhlina.

One user urged her to continue serving regardless of how long she remained in office, saying that holding the position was a responsibility entrusted to her and the government.

Another user encouraged Fadhlina to remain focused on her work and not be overly concerned about criticism directed at her.

The minister’s post has since attracted tens of thousands of views and hundreds of comments on Threads, reflecting continued public interest in her remarks and her approach to carrying out her responsibilities.
