A giant king cobra sent students and teachers scrambling for safety after it slithered into a classroom at a secondary school in Sambas, West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
The incident reportedly happened recently at SMKN 1 Sambas and was reported by Indonesian news outlet Lambe Turah.
Video uploaded to TikTok by the @pikiranrakyat account showed the dangerous reptile inside the classroom as students and teachers fled the area.
In a surprising turn, a school cleaner stepped in to capture the snake using only a broomstick and his hands.
The cleaner eventually managed to secure the king cobra and remove it from the classroom.
No injuries or fatalities were reported in the incident.
The video has since attracted more than 1.8 million views and prompted a wave of reactions from netizens.
