Food Delivery Rider Touches Hearts After Stopping And Helping Elderly Man In Wheelchair

Date:

A food delivery rider has won praise online after stopping his motorcycle to help an elderly man using a wheelchair outside a shopping mall.

The touching moment was shared through a TikTok video uploaded by TikTok user Ochulaah, showing the rider putting aside his busy delivery schedule to assist the elderly man.

In the video, the young man was seen helping move the elderly man to a shaded area while also arranging his basket of groceries.

The rider also spent several moments talking to the elderly man and ensuring he was safely positioned beside the roadside before continuing his journey.

“He didn’t just pass by… he chose to stop and help the uncle. That’s what made me emotional,” the uploader wrote.

“Even while busy chasing orders and earning a living, he still had time to think about others. Sometimes the people working the hardest are also the most sincere when helping others,” the post added.

According to the uploader, the video was not recorded for viral attention but simply because they were touched by the rider’s kindness and compassion.

“It may seem small to others, but it meant a lot to the uncle. Thank you, abang rider,” the caption read.

The video quickly attracted positive reactions online, with many social media users praising the rider’s actions and offering prayers for both him and the elderly man.

One commenter wished for the rider to receive many orders, safe journeys and a trouble-free motorcycle while working.

Another user wrote: “There are many good people in this world. If we do not meet one of them, then let us become one of them.”

Many others also prayed for the well-being and protection of both the elderly man and the rider, saying the act served as a reminder that kindness and humanity still exist despite the fast pace of modern life.
