T.O.P Returns To Spotlight With Nana In New Collaboration Video Ahead Of Comeback

Date:

Former Big Bang member T.O.P has made a return to the public eye through a special collaboration video with actress and performer Nana, signalling a new phase in his entertainment career ahead of his comeback.

On 28 April, T.O.P uploaded a video titled “One time YouTuber T.O.P with NANA” on his official YouTube channel. In the clip, Nana—who previously appeared in his “Crazy (Studio54)” music video—joins him for an ASMR-style mukbang session while they discuss his latest release.

The pair appeared in coordinated black-and-white sporty outfits as they sat across a table filled with food, including spicy carbo buldak noodles and sesame snacks. T.O.P wore goggles pushed up on his head while maintaining a calm expression, while Nana stood out with her bright orange bob hairstyle.

During the video, they watched T.O.P’s new music video together in silence. At one point, when Nana’s dance scene appeared on screen, she spontaneously stood up and performed the choreography, drawing a subtle smile from T.O.P and highlighting their unusual on-screen chemistry.

Nana later asked why she was chosen for the project, prompting T.O.P to explain that he had envisioned a mysterious female character from the start of the song’s creation. He described the role as someone with timeless beauty and a strong, intense energy that matched the theme of the track.

He added that in his view, Nana was the perfect fit for the concept. The video attracted attention for their understated yet playful dynamic, with viewers noting T.O.P’s frequent smiles at Nana’s spontaneous behaviour.

T.O.P’s solo full-length album “ANOTHER DIMENSION”, released on 8 April, marks his first major release in three years and his first solo album in about 13 years since “DOOM DADA” in 2013.

Debuting in 2006 as a member of BIGBANG, T.O.P built a career spanning both music and acting. He paused his activities following a drug-related controversy in 2017 and later announced his retirement from the entertainment industry.

In recent years, however, he has gradually returned to public life, including an appearance in Squid Game Season 2 and renewed engagement in entertainment projects while addressing past controversies in interviews.
