Man Goes On Rampage, Flips Multiple Tables At KL Old Klang Road Dim Sum Shop

Date:

A late-night dim sum restaurant in Kuala Lumpur was thrown into chaos after a man allegedly went on a rampage, flipping multiple dining tables before fleeing the scene.

The incident is believed to have taken place at around 1.50am today at a shop along Old Klang Road. The suspect, reportedly a foreign national, was seen in viral footage walking from table to table before suddenly overturning dining setups, shocking patrons who were still eating.

According to a witness who recorded the video, he was having supper with friends when loud crashing sounds were heard, initially moving closer until it became clear that tables were being violently overturned one after another.

He said the situation escalated quickly, with diners left stunned and afraid to intervene due to the suspect’s aggressive behaviour and the suddenness of the incident.

At the time, several tables were still occupied, including one with an elderly diner, when the suspect allegedly charged forward and flipped the table as well.

Only then did some patrons raise their voices to confront the man, prompting him to flee the restaurant immediately.

The witness added that the premises are equipped with closed-circuit television cameras and urged relevant authorities to review the footage and take appropriate action.

No injuries were immediately reported, and further details on the suspect’s identity and motive have yet to be confirmed.
