MoE Probes Alleged Leak of 2025 SPM Exam Paper, Says Questions Remain Secure

Date:

The Education Ministry will investigate viral claims that the 2025 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination paper was leaked, although it believes no such incident has occurred.

Education director-general Dr Mohd Azam Ahmad said the ministry is aware of the allegations circulating on social media but has not received any official reports.

“So far, we believe the SPM questions are still well-secured,” he told reporters after visiting SMK Putrajaya Presint 11(1) on the first day of the SPM exam.

The claims reportedly surfaced online, with screenshots offering alleged leaked SPM questions for RM499 per subject, including a promise of an A grade or a refund.

Mohd Azam said the Malaysian Examinations Syndicate is reviewing the allegations and has established procedures in place to manage such situations.

“I am confident in their processes, as I was formerly an exam director and understand the steps taken to address such claims,” he added.

A total of 413,372 candidates nationwide are sitting for the SPM 2025 examinations, which commenced today.
