A village in Phuket, Thailand, has become the center of heated discussion after residents reported that a foreign couple had been engaging in intense intimate activities night after night, with moaning and banging noises allegedly echoing from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. The disturbance was so loud that neighbors said they could barely sleep, eventually filing a complaint with local authorities.
According to The Thaiger, administrative officers visited the village on the 13th to investigate. Multiple residents confirmed that the nightly noises were “impossible to ignore,” describing the sounds as so loud they could be heard through the walls. When officers arrived, a middle-aged foreign man immediately stepped forward, admitting he and his partner were the source of the commotion. He also revealed that police had previously warned him about the same issue.
The man claimed he is a professional football player who undergoes rigorous training, maintaining a high-performance physical condition. Because of this, he suggested his reactions during intimacy might be “more energetic than usual,” unintentionally creating excessive noise. He insisted there was no intention to disturb anyone and promised to lower the volume moving forward. Officials reminded him to take the matter seriously, and the man later apologized to neighbors in hopes of easing tensions.
This isn’t the first time such an incident has occurred in Phuket. In April, a couple in Patong was reported not only for loud late-night activities but also for being intimate on their balcony without closing the curtains, exposing their actions to the entire building. After several sleepless nights, residents contacted police, who eventually intervened.
The issue extends beyond Phuket. In Bangkok’s Nana district, residents recently complained about landlords renting units to groups of foreign tourists who allegedly created constant noise and were suspected of conducting sex work inside the building. Police and government agencies have been alerted, though investigations are still ongoing.
