Two Men Steal Wallet From Unlocked Car in Bintulu

Two men reportedly stole a wallet left inside an unlocked car, taking advantage of the owner’s momentary lapse in securing the vehicle.

According to reports, the incident occurred in the Kampung Baru area. One suspect got out of a motorcycle to commit the theft while the other waited on the bike to assist with the getaway. After obtaining the wallet, the pair quickly fled the scene.

Authorities noted that the suspects specifically target vehicles that are left unlocked.

Members of the public are urged to always lock their cars, even for a brief absence, and avoid leaving wallets or valuables in plain view inside the vehicle.

The car owner discovered the theft and immediately went to the police station to lodge a report.
